Nortd Shore Shrimp Truck in Oahu

They have great tasting shrimp, but don't like shrimp with shell still on it, and there are so many birds under the tables, on the tables, and on the seats. Its hard to enjoy your food.

Went in on Fathers Day. My sisters made two shrimp orders and a shave ice with SHAREYA and sat down. No customers at all. After 15-20 minutes of glances back and forth from SHAREYA she finally noticed my two sisters waiting for their order. Only then had she got off her phone and told the girls in the truck if they had done the order. Another female had to come out and retake the order while SHAREYA went back to continue looking/playing on her phone. Orders were then made quick by the two females in the truck (thank you two). Very unacceptable, Poor customer service and very unprofessional!!!! We will not be going back. I hope she shapes up or gets let go!!!

If I were home $30 for a pair of lunch truck lunches would not be a good deal, but in Hawaii it is. Their shrimp plates come with 8 shrimp, a bed of rice, and a small salad. The food was delicious, but oddly, the shrimp is cooked with all of the shell on, so be prepared to chew around that and perhaps pull bits of shell out of your mouth that you can't swallow.

I LOOOOVED this place. Even with our short visit to Oahu, we visited twice. The butter garlic shrimp is AMAZING and the servings are HUGE.

I ordered the garlic shrimp plate and eat it. Took picture of my food and posted to yelp like they advertised sign says. Showed lady at register and she told me they don't do that because it's busy hour. There was no one in line and she was on her phone texting. I guess she was real busy! Or just didn't wanna give me a free shaved ice. I hate the feeling of being lied to or ripped off so they only get 1 star from me for false advertising! They do give you alot of food for $10.

This was really good! We had been out on the North Shore for a while when the hugries snuck up behind us and bit! We went here and I had the combo fish and shrimp tacos either the chips and pineapple salsa. Just awesome! Their pineapple drink was good, but not worth the $10, it has too much foam and not enough juice. But the Shrimp tacos was the best. Go get one now if you are there!

Ate here yesterday. Unfortunately. 3 out of 4 got sick from the garlic shrimp. As in diarrhea and vomit sick. Immediately after the meal and the same symptoms. As for the food. It's not good. Salad squirted with some dressing badly cooked rice and shrimp with the shell on. Take the shell off and all the seasoning comes off. Makes no sense. Location is good though and you can drink your own beers unfortunately alot of people will still go here because it is close to the beautiful beaches. Pineapple drink leaves alot to be desired aswel. Overall avoid.

THE MOST delicious Food on Oahu! I’ve lived on the island for a couple years and found the shrimp here to be the best quality food with an Authentic scrumptious taste I come here every day for lunch there’s a beautiful view of the ocean my favorite dish is the garlic shrimp. It’s inexpensive and well worth the amount of food you get. If you are coming to Oahu, you have to stop here. And experience and taste of a lifetime

Seriously? I can’t believe this place gets 4 stars. They garlic shrimp is “battered” but it’s more like MUSH on shrimp. It’s definitely garlicky, too much for my taste -the garlic wasn’t even sautéd properly, it was mostly raw. And then everything is just soaked in a cup of butter. Like, it was like they poured butter on top. Couldn’t eat it. Jenny’s is so much better, if you’re looking for a shrimp truck.

Great shrimp! Garlic Is the best flavor. A little pricey! Oh and cash only. But there is an atm on site behind the food area by the surf shop

This may have been a staple at one time, but it's now a tourist trap, and a poor one at that. They accept cash only, and their prices are pretty outrageous. We split one order of the garlic shrimp, and I'm just glad we didnt get more. Honestly, the best thing on the plate was the bagged salad mix. The shrimp (it's written in the menu) are cooked with the shells on "for extra flavor" but there was absolutely no flavor whatsoever. We had to salt our shrimp and our rice just to make it edible. I would not recommend. This was the worst thing we ate on the island.

I went to the North Shore when it was too late. Every other shrimp truck was closed already. This place was the last and only one I could find. The food was good, but I like the atmosphere more. They play movie next to the truck. Not too noisy, but really romantic.

This was really amazing! Shrimp was on point. Rice was nice and smooth. Salad, well it's a salad.. ;) Overall, if you're at one of these beaches, definitely recommend this truck!

Good sashimi. Fresh and well done. Great to go to while on a day trip on oahu.

The first time we came here the service wasn’t great but the shave ice was pretty good. The second time around was a nightmare. Not only were they out of a lot of the flavors. But we got ripped off ! We 110% paid with a $20 and the woman at the register didn’t give us any change. She said we paid with a $10 ( which we didn’t have). We might be tourists but that’s not an excuse to take advantage. Seriously just skip this trap, or you’ll get ripped off as well.Oh also, how can you play Christian music and then you steal your customers money. You should be called North Shore Sin Truck!

Ordering is as simple as 1-2-3. We had the garlic shrimp and spicy shrimp and shared it. The food is incredibly tasty! And you have a ocean view!

Lived I Hawaii for two and a half years and this is the first time I've eaten here, it may well be the best shrimp I have ever had in my Life!

One of the worst shrimp I have ever tried. Also they don’t take credit cards. We waited long for the food to get ready and the shrimp was obviously not fresh. Definitely won’t go back.

The spot has a great patio with turf and picnic tables, which were open since Hawai’i is on lockdown.The price was super expensive $15 for a plate but we the portion was generous at 8 shrimp, rice and salad.We ordered spicy shrimp, we got buttery shrimp but used the taco truck’s hot sauce to make it hot.The shrimp was ok- nothing I’d ever order again. The rice was good with the shrimp butter sauce on it, also the salad was very good for a simple lettuce mix with dressing.

Ordered food at 1:05pm on a Sunday. The place was not that crowded. At 1:25pm, I asked the young man what happened to my order. The kid asked whether I wanted a refund. I said, “Whatttt??? No! I want my GD food!!” He said, it will take longer. Well, that is not really acceptable. Took them another 10 minutes, no apology, no admission of guilt, no nothing. Not good fellas. When you forget or miss an order, you gotta show the customer that you’re sincere! That’s customer service man!!! Get with the program.

After a long day snorkeling and surfing in paradise, this is what you want for dinner: simple perfection. Delicious shrimp, served up with rice, salad and real aloha spirit. Julia and Shae will hook you up properly. If you're not eating dinner at the shrimp truck, are you really even on the North Shore? No.

Good cold brew and tasty shrimp with a great view on North shore. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and we're quick to get our order to us. The location is easy to get to and has a good amount of seating. Everything is a bit pricey but your paying for the location so that's on par for North shore

Coconut crusted ahi and lemon shrimp. Words can't describe how good this is and a view to go with it.

Cool spot with lots of food trucks. People working were really wonderful. Garlic Shrimp was not bad, but not mind-blowing. Really hoped they had coconut shrimp. Oh yah, they come with shells on, just a heads up!

Staff was very kind and helpful. Their Garlic Shrimp plate is out of this world. You can tell the shrimp is super fresh and yum!!

Has the most tasty shrimp plates around. My favorite is the garlic shrimp but I also love the lemon butter shrimp. I’ve been coming hear for a while and it’s always on point and delicious.

Salad and rice both okay, shrimp has shells, you have to rub the breading into the rice or eat it off of your hand so you don't lose it all.

We found the garlic shrimp to be flavorful albeit a bit plain but maybe we should have ordered the spicy shrimp

Yummy food...

The spicy shrimp were flavorless, the rice was soo plain with no sauce. If your looking for spicy shrimp do yourself a favor and drive down to kale’iwa and get Jenny’s.

We visited here and enjoyed a shaved ice with ice cream today on one of our first days in north shore. We have made a special trip from Bellows Air Force Base (well over and hour and half) for two days straight to enjoy another one and they have been out of ice cream both days. Very very disappointed in customer service.... considering there is a super market less than a block away to restock supplies if needed.

Great place to just sit, relax and have a great grub. Try the spicy shrimp if u can handle above average heat. The ambience is great and it just feels like home. Cheers to the guys. REX

Loved this! Much tastier and in a better location than the famous Giovanni’s. Beware of animals and birds at the picnic tables. They are vicious and will attack. 🤭

Visited the famous north shore shrimp truck for the first time. The shrimp the flavor the location were just great! I tried the garlic flavor it was great! They are soft yet crunchy with the shell on. No need to remove the shell. Definitely recomend this food truck if youre driving by

Worst customer service. They don’t take cards, which is not an issue, but they don’t need to be rude about it. Then they were out of all shaved ice and spicy shrimp, which once again is fine, but it was noon and they were advertising those things. Why spend $5 to get cash out of the ATM to be told that they were out of the things we wanted. They were so rude about it and they threw a fit after we asked them to make the shrimp to go. It was ok, but not worth the hype and the horrible customer service! There are 4 other food trucks there with great people, food and customer service. Don’t waste your cash on this awful place.

This is one of my favorite places for shrimp on the island. The location is right on the edge of Halieva....And is perfect. Drive right by all the other trucks and come for the best!

Great food and service. Loved the outside seating across the road from the beach. The lemon butter shrimp were fantastic and enough to split a plate. Shaved ice for dessert to top it off.

The garlic parmesan shrimp and the pineapple drink were amazing!! The servers were kind, and we are looking forward to coming back and trying more shrimp flavors (:
